• Dear reader,

please help! I don’t get access to my Admin or ‘regular’ self hosted website, because of this error message. I had the Aqua page builder plugin installed before, and got the advise from the Support desk to install it again because of some errors on the screen. But now I am completely blocked and don’t know how to fix it. Can you please tell me what to do to get access to my website again?

  • FTP into your site (or whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the wp-content/plugins/Aqua-Page-Builder-master folder.

Hi Esmi, Thanks for your reaction. The first one after 3 days of panicking!

I’ve deleted the folder from the server via Filezilla, at least I think I did because it doesn’t show up in the server files.

However, I still get the same error message. Is there something I should do?

    Thanks!!

    Site url?

    Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Hi Esmi,

I’ve tried the two options but both without success. Maybe I do something wrong, but I just don’t know what. Can I send you a print screen (can’t add this into this post?)
Resetting the plugins folder I’ve also tried, but still couldn’t login afterwards. Would it be an idea to erase all documentation from the server and start all over again?

    Thanks again!

No – that wouldn’t help. Try the Phpmyadmin method of resetting the plugins folder.

OK I’ll try. Just downloaded the software but no idea what to do with it yet so I’ll get going…:-)

I’m sorry I am totally lost. I can’t even get myphp up and running. I’ve downloaded the latest version from the site, leaving me with a load of documents. I uploaded all documents via Filezilla to the server. But after that I do know how to go further.

I’ve tried to delete all documents in the folder Plugins or resetting it by giving it the name plugins-old. No change, stil; no access to my admin page.

Since I’m really new at this, I might understand thing incorrectly. Maybe I’m doing something badly wrong without knowing it. Some way to find out?

No. You need to ask your hosts about accessing Phymyadmin on their server.

I already did, and they answered me that I should be with WordPress support. Getting desparate now.
Do you know if there is someone in The Netherlands or Germany that I can visit, ask for additional support of call somewhere on the globe?

Or would the best solution be to claim a new url and start all over again?
