Cannot upload images

  • Been working great and today I get the Http error, won’t let me upload images.

    Keep it simple please. And walk me thru.

  • What is the error message?

    If you check the uploads folder did the file upload in spite of the error?

    Have you tried both methods of uploading?

    Error message is in a pink box and only says: http error

    File did not upload at all…did not get to crunching stage.

    When I tried to use other method of uploading message was this:
    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    You need to speak to your hosts about this. It sounds like a server issue – probably a problem with mod_security.

    Thanks, I did a support ticket at Go Daddy. Now I wait…guess no blogging today. Happy Monday and thanks for trying.

    Actually no. It just started working right after I deactivated plug-ins. After it started working right I reactivated plug-ins. I’m clueless.

    That means one or more of your plugins can be causing the trouble. Deactivate and activate plugins one by one, watch the results, until you locate the problematic one.

    Yesterday, I had the same problem, I’ve resolved it by updating the php version to php 5.4
