Need to reset my password for admin

I have never reset my admin password that I know of, had it at the factory defaults. But now maybe I did, as every time I try it, it fails. So I try something else and it fails. And after the third strike, my IP gets blocked and I have to contact my hosting company to allow my IP back into the site–as all lights turn out and I cannot get to the site at all on any home computer. So now, I cannot get into my own WordPress to blog and feel like an utter failure. How can I reset my own admin password? Please help.
