Enabling featured image hides products on product page

  • Hi,
    I’m using a custom theme on Version 3.8.11.1 of the WP e-commerce plugin with Version 2.9.7 of the Gold Cart plugin.

    In order to display the featured product on my product page, I went to Settings > Store > Presentation > Display Featured Product above Product Pages and selected “Yes.”

    Instead of displaying my featured product above the Product Pages, it is only displaying my featured product, and nothing else below it.

    I have no way of contacting the person who worked on the site before me, so I do not know whether there were any changes made to the code or settings that would inhibit this from working properly. Any idea what might be going on?
