  • Yes, that’s what feeds are. Normally you don’t look at the feed page (XML code) itself. Normally, you (or your readers) will put the feed address in their RSS Reader program, which will display your text/content in their RSS Reader, using their own backgrounds and fonts, colors and sizes, with each post linking to your actual site if the reader wants to click-over and see it on your page design.

It’s useful for your readers because they can subscribe to 100 sites and they will have all the news/posts/content from today, collected from all 100 sites, all in their own 1 font and format. Then they can click where they want to read more on any site.

By the way, how are you planning to incorporate “Stickers”? CafePress?

ah right ok… although I’m sure last time i used wordpress the rss feeds appeared and looked exactly like the front page, take boingboings feed as an example. Or am I thinking of some other type of feed?

With the stickers we’re hoping to develop the idea of having a set of small simple stickers with “ifoundthis.co.uk” on them. If youve found something of interest, a sticked can replace it. Anyway its an idea in progress.
