Editing in visual mode doesn't change html

    I have been having problems with the “Broken Link Checker” app, thinking that it was showing me links that I had already editing or deleted…but just figured out that the links I deleted or edited in visual mode are actually still there in html (text) mode! Whole paragraphs of stuff I deleted are still showing in the html, but not on the site! What the heck??? Why do I have all this code that is not going away or not being edited when I use visual mode? The site actually looks fine…appears to be edited…but when I’m doing this link checker I keep finding more things that are still lingering in code view even after I’ve deleted them.

    Has anyone else had this happen? And if so, what’s the solution??

  • Have you tried deleting those links from the “Text Mode” instead? It’s true that sometimes you left out some code when deleting from Visual Mode, and those are not visible unless checking from the text mode.
