• Hello there, new here if you can’t tell. WordPress is up and running, I am using the random image theme.

I am trying to find a way to make a post under another heading.

For example. My official blog is at it’s default location “Blog”, but I would like to make a post in another heading, “Movies” where I will have folks download my work, I would like to be able to have commentary and the like.

Is there a way to post under another header link as well as keep the original default “Blog”?

    Thanks in advance

  • By ‘another heding’ you mean you want to have another ‘movie’ blog as well as your ‘offical blog’ ?

The only way to do this at the moment is to do another install of WordPress for the ‘movie’ blog.

    Help us to help you…
Give a link, tell us what theme is active, give as many details as you can – otherwise it’s just a shot in the dark.

    Thanks for the response. ??

As I said, I’m using the Random Image theme (By Alex Cohen https://www.mcdevzone.com).

More details. I don’t want another blog, I just want to be able to post in more then one heading link. So for example my header links are:

Blog, About Me, Movies, Travels, etc, etc.

My default official “blog” is located at “blog.” Which is fine and working as intended. ?? This is where if I write a post, the post will be seen at.

However, what I am trying to do is under my “Movies” header is to be able to post my movie creations (for a game I play), with a description for each movie and a place for comments. (I would like feedback on if folks liked them or not!)

Is it possible to do that with WordPress? I won’t be posting there often, I have about a dozen or so movies uploaded, and once I can get them in a post that allows for a description and comments, I’ll be happy. So if there is a tedious way, I’m more then willing to try.

If I installed WordPress again, then I assume (I might be wrong) my “Blog” will no longer be uniform with the new “Movies Blog” with the sidebar and such correct?

I’m sorry if I did not give enough information, I’m still new at this and doing my best to get it to work the way I want it. ??
