Hi. I downloaded the plugin yesterday and for the most part I’m happy with it but there are a few issues:

    – MAIN ISSUE: When I try to view the uploaded listing on my laptop (where the plugin is installed) it only shows me reams of script. However when I check on my smartphone, it shows up as it should. I have deactivated other plugins thinking that maybe there was a conflict but that hasn’t worked either. I’ve tried everything I can think of but it’s no good.

    – Google Maps doesn’t appear on the individual listings, only on the main listing page. How can I embed it?

    – Only half of the “Search Listings” button shows

I must launch by Monday so please help. Thanks a lot.

Hello, this sounds like issues with the web server on your laptop. Try changing your theme as well to see if this resolves the issue.

Hi. I use Chrome if this is what you are referring to. I cannot change the theme because it is one that I purchased personalized. Please offer suggestions as to how to fix this problem.

There is no magic bullet in these situations. This is just the start of basic troubleshooting and is a process of elimination deliberately designed to locate the root cause as quickly as possible by first removing the most obvious and common culprits via a series of (often) temporary steps.

Do you want to locate and, hopefully, fix the problem on your site? If “yes”, then please help us to help you and carry out the changes that we suggest.

I indicated in my last email that I use Chrome, nothing further has been said about that, whether it is known to cause problems with the plugin or not.

I also indicated that I cannot simply change my theme.

I do want to resolve the problem so if you can please shed some light on the issue I would appreciate it.

I also indicated that I cannot simply change my theme.

Why? This is part of the troubleshooting process.

It would seem that confrontation is your method. I have no interest in battling it out with you. Again, you don’t offer anything constructive so don’t worry. I will figure this out on my own. It is as if you have taken my post as some type of personal attack on the plugin which isn’t the case at all but I have no interest in continuing down this road if you cannot say for example, why my WordPress theme would interfere with your plugin. Change my theme to what. You are not constructive at all so this “troubleshooting” as you call it serves no purpose as you are not actually advising me.

if you cannot say for example, why my WordPress theme would interfere with your plugin

Sorry – I guess we all left our psychic web browsers at home. Which part of:

[…]a process of elimination deliberately designed to locate the root cause as quickly as possible by first removing the most obvious and common culprits via a series of (often) temporary steps.

are you having a problem with? You could start by switching to the default 2012 theme and deactivating all other plugins.
