Hello, really exellent plugin first of all.

Is it possible to make Lastest Forum Post widjet ajax based instead of php query?

list which updates lastest posts if any.

If no (there is no easy way to do so), which way you might sudgest (how it’s done in a right way)?

    1) Do I send query after some interval with ajax?
    2) Or is there a way to hook it with when somebody posts, send updated row to other users?

    Thanks again,
    Radikal Edward

YOu might look at the other plugins available here under symposium blog post it was made by a member and might be what your looking for. There is a setting in the settings pages for using ajax in the plugins as well.

YOu can also go to our site for more help there as well. Support is really handled there. WPSymposium

    Hello Robert,
    Thanks.

I found only this at blog posts
    https://www.wpsymposium.com/2012/01/extending-wps-adding-comments-made-to-profile-activity-with-add_activity_post/

It’s good for fundament but I want to display my lastest forum posts seperatly from news feed

That will not work very well as each member controls if the feeds are active on their own post sorry. Deals with privacy issues if they want it broadcasted or not. there is a page for that as well look on the forum settings page towards the bottom and it shows the codes there (short codes)

I’ve seen this [symposium-forumlatestposts] shortcode, it does exactly what I want it to update automatically. I guess I go with this and see how to transform it to work with ajax

YOu could put that in a widget and tell it how many to show as well it tell you the coding on the same page.

    Have fun
