• It is time for another plugin request..

Nothing too huge though, as there are other things I need to do tonight. I am just still in the plugin-writing mood ??

I will do the first request that I like (vague eh? heh)

The draft notification one sounds nice ?? Let me see what I can do.

Well after a bit of testing, I can have a plugin send a message to a specified address when a draft is saved.

It also sends the message when a draft is opened and saved again. I am not sure if there is a way to differentiate it being a ‘new’ draft, since a date is not stored until it is published.

Would that still work for you?

Isn’t that nice to wake up to such a nice news?
Thank you – I’ll download today and play with it later.

i’m looking for one that will either let me add some default text for new posts, or even better, allow me to define buttons (or menus, or links, whatever) that will allow me to choose from a set of canned text bits that i can use in my posts.

basically, i have a specific bunch of stuff i use when posting pictures (same base path and a comment div), and typing it in every time is a bit of a drag. with Blogger, you can specify the ‘default’ text for each new post, and i just set it to be a skeleton image tag – i got used to it.

I would still love to have a collapsible excerpt plugin — on the main page, show complete posts, but on archive pages, have excerpts with a collapsible link to the whole post.

allow me to define buttons (or menus, or links, whatever) that will allow me to choose from a set of canned text bits that i can use in my posts.

Can’t you do that with Quicktags? I have done it several times for clients: adding Quicktags for “ImgLeft”, “ImgRight”, “TxtCent”, “SpnRed” and stuff like that…

Pretty please – a plug in that displays on each main category page a list of post links, each with a description (taken perhaps from the escerpt or from a custom field).

It would make my WP much more elegant and simple for users to see at a glance on each category page all the various posts in each category

    Hi there,

Not sure if there is something like this already but I would really like a plug-in which I can display an editable value on the right of the weblog in the menu bar. Ideally I’d like to be able to display a small box at the top of that right column, and edit it in the WordPress control panel. Is this easily do-able?

Not that I write plugins, just curios:
What is a ” main category page”?
    What is a “post link”?

to see at a glance on each category page all the various posts in each category
Isn’t the so-called category archive view doing exactly this?

I request an appointment plugin, similar to contact form, but where person could click on calendar and could click on a time slot that they could request an appointment. If that slot is already filled, it would let them know. Or they could already seen on the calendar that that time frame is filled

The request had already been filled for moshou.

I am sure I will make the offer again, but just not right now. I have several other plugins/scripts I am working on. ??
