    Hey!

Let me start of by saying this plugin is the most well built, comprehensive and customizable plugin I’ve ever used. Great job, it’s truly an amazing plugin.

I am making a website for my college fraternity. I am building a photo-sharing page for internal events and have used your app to successfully implement it. It is nearly there, but have one minor tweak I can’t figure out and a major question for you.

    Minor Tweak:
I have enabled users to add photos to albums from the front end. It shows the “Upload Photo” link on the album cover, and in the thumbnail view within the album. Do you know what line of code I need to suppress in order to hide the link on the album cover, and only show the “upload photo” link when users have actually opened up the album?

    Major Question:
I’d like users to be able to create and delete their own albums on the front end. Is there any way to do this, or must all album management be done via the backend menus?

    Thank you so much!

    – Jacob

You can create one album automaticly for every logged in user.
See Table IX-B6 and 7. Grant an album.

You should defenitely check Table VII-B1: Owner only, and VII-B3 Upload login!!

I do not understand your Minor Tweak question. In the thumbnail view the album is open, though? Maybe you mean that they only may upload to their own album, That does Table VII-B1.

There is not yet a way to create albums at the front-end, However, you can limit the number of albums users can create as well as the max number of photos. ( IX-B5 and 8 ).

Note user admin can upload anywhere, and sees everything, also items pending moderation.

I would like to thank first of all. Really a great plugin.
One wish I still would have. Is it now possible somehow the moderation of albums to get in the frontend? So that you can create albums in the frontend.

That would be very nice. I have a closed community and everyone should able to upload for example in the album “Summer 2013” images. But if only the admin can create albums is not opimal.

I hope you understand my wish.
