Widget displays no authors when one is excluded

what’s the exact string you added to the exclude field?

I added a name like “KT Samurai” without the quotes. I figured that was the way it worked. My blog has been around for quite a while, so I wanted to keep the author list current.

you should use the login name (the last part of the url after /authors/: https://example.com/authors/THISONE

Doesn’t seem to work. Still blanks out the widget.

try this:
“kt-samurai”,”Jura”
including the quotes!
