My images keep getting cropped in my slider

  • Hi there,

    OK so I feel that I have tried EVERYTHING. Every time I try to upload images to a slide in my “LayerSliderWP” my images keep getting cut off.

    My slider says it’s 300x 600 pixels so I changed my photo to that size, it still cropped out the same amount. I then saw that it said the thumbnails are 100x 60 pixels so I changed my photo size to that, and it still cropped it the same exact amount!

  • Hey, I’ve seen your gigs on Fiverr, lol.

    Anyway, I’m not seeing what you’re saying. Your slider is one size, but your images are another. Make sure that you’re not only resizing the image to the exact size of the slider, but you’ll also want to make sure you replace the original image with a new one. The home slider shows images that are completely different sizes than the slider itself.

    @brittybr the image placed on the slider is Widht2560X Height: 1920

    Thank you so much! That photo fits! Now, how do I resize my other photos to be that size? Do I have to open them in PhotoShop and set the width to 2560px and the height to 1920px?

    @brittybr you need to resize the image according to the size of the slider. 300X600

    But my images look all warped and stretched… is there a different slider I can download? or a plug in or something to solve this?

    there are many nivo slider, jquery slider.

    I downloaded “JJ NextGen JQuery Slider” but I can’t figure out how to get it on my Home page, it seems as though I can only use the “LayerSlider WP” that appears at the very bottom of the menu on the left side of my WP-Admin site.

    Any thoughts on how to get the “JJ NextGen JQuery Slider” to work on my Home page?

    i think you need make a custom landing page by going into themes options and from there add the slider, so it can show on the homepage

    Unfortunately I am not able to use any Slider on my Homepage except for the “LayerSlider WP” that is located on the left side of my Admin tool bar. I have tried everything.

    When I go to “Theme Options” I do have a “Slider” tab but I cannot seem to get that slider on my Homepage, as stated above, I am only able to see the “LayerSlider WP” one on my Homepage and that is the one that none of my photos will fit into ??

    If you can help me figure either the above problem or maybe what size to scale/ crop my photos to so that they are not extremely too large to fit in the space provided by the slider and not stretched out of proportion, I would be so grateful!

    I can’t launch my website until I have my Homepage in order and this Slider is the only thing keeping me from it!

    What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

    The www.remarpro.com support forums are meant for the core application, themes and plugins that are distributed on www.remarpro.com. We do not support themes downloaded from elsewhere.
