• Hi Kev, very nice plugin, though I have to report some issues.

    * With the jquery UI styles, on the accordion bars the text labels get placed under the arrow, making the bar higher. In the settings preview screen they do look OK, but there the accordion bars expand, but don’t retract

*using style shortcodes doesn’t work. They all inherit the default style

*effects are not working at all

*minor twitch just before an accordion bar starts moving (div expands then retracts a little, vertically)

I need to point out that I’m running this on wp 3.4.2 with Mystique atom theme (digitalnature.eu). Awaiting an update as it has jquery issues with WP 3.5.1. Tested it, and I must enable the theme’s built-in optimizer to make it work, but this strips WP UI from it’s CSS & JS.

    Anyways, cheers!

    Hi There,

    Thanks. ??

    1) Seems like the site uses version of jQuery UI higher than 1.10.1. There is change in markup, which can lead to issue described. Please try looking at the source to see what version of jQuery UI is loaded. Also running jQuery.ui.version in console will give you the active version on the page.
    2) You also have to also select Option Page-> Style -> Load Multiple Style” in order to the shortcode work.
    3) Effects can be disabled because of discrepancies in the WordPress included ones and custom copies. Please upgrade to version 3.5.1 as current version ( 0.8.7 ) might have issues with older ones.

Mystique used to be one of favorite themes ( pre Atom framework ). I will try the theme and fix any issues I encounter. ??

    Ok thanks!

    1) I don’t think that digitalnature.eu is running on Mystique, but it is the place to get the atom version. The Mystique found here on wp.org is a crippled, non-atom version. In my installation I’m finding jQuery 1.7.2 and jQuery UI 1.8.20 (in wp includes). In the theme files I see there’s js in the atom framework and in some mods, but no jquery version info.

    2) yes I had that enabled

    3) I can’t upgrade WP as it will break more than it fixes. Hope that Mystique’s author will release an upgrade soon.

    Cheers.

    UPDATE:

No idea why, but the style settings in shortcodes are now working. The style settings in the manual widget are *not* working (for now I can use text widgets for the sidebar which works fine).

I still have the accordion bar label placement issue with jQueryUI styles. I’ve found that this issue is not occurring with the spoiler.

Decided to try themeroller custom style to see if that would fix the label issue and indeed it does…. sorta.

I downloaded UI lightness without changing anything, and with all components removed. After installing it, and making it default, the various accordion styles on the page suddenly have large gaps between the bars. Looks like it’s H3 top-margin 10px.

What’s worse, all the arrows are gone – for all styles onscreen! (it did fix the bar height issue though)

As there’s so many classes and id’s… how to fix?

EDIT: It seems that the css of the default style overrides other css. Assigning another style as default fixed the other styles… now need to fix my custom style.

i have this prolem where the shortcodes does not work and evn i try to make the to add directly to my template this only happen after i update to 0.8.7

    Thanks
    Ruel
