• I tried adding some code to the functions.php file and I believe I did something incorrectly. Now whenever I try to access the dashboard the entire webpage is blank. This happened once before with another site I was working on. How do I go about having the php code removed?

  • Download a copy of your theme to your local computer. Then use FTP (or other file manager) to access the files on your server – you can there replace the functions.php file with a new copy – and that should fix the problem.

The only problem is that I can’t pull up the dashboard. For example, when I try to go to https://www.richmondchamberplayers.org/wp-admin. My Internet browser just remains blank and the same thing happens if you try to visit the site directly.

You do not access to your WordPress dashboard to use FTP.
