Can't view photos on theme page to edit

My page has a portfolio of thumbnail images that open to larger image when you click on magnifying glass icon. I can’t seem to find the proper page/post? to edit larger photos or replace thumbnails, etc. Where do I find the page to edit photos on a page? Is it inside the theme?
