Double images when inserted via php
-
The issue can be found here: https://test.saugeenartists.ca/
It works with other themes: Yes
It works when I disable all other plugins: No
Meta Slider version: 2.1Seems to be an issue with my theme (and child theme) but when I insert the slider into the .php code of my index it takes up twice the size and shows two versions of the images with a loading icon in the middle. The loading icon doesn’t go away and the proper transitions only happen in the top image.
I’ve tried deactivating all of my other plug-ins and the problem still exists. I tried inserting the php shortcode thing in the Twenty Twelve theme and it works perfectly.
I’ve tried the other Meta Slider themes (FlexSlider, NivoSlider, etc.) and it happens with all of them, though some of them won’t show the double images and some of them the navigation is completely above the slider. When it doesn’t show the two images you can read the text under it but you can’t highlight it or click on links.
The theme I have active right now is the parent theme since that’s likely where the problem is. Any fixes you have I will implement in my child theme. Any help is appreciated!
