IE8 and below: the cupcake image overlaps the site title.

Do you have a section of the dashboard named, “Custom CSS” or “Edit CSS”? Or are you using a Child Theme?

I’m not using a child theme, I’m on latest WordPress and latest theme. I can customise it and probably fix it but I thought I should log it for Caroline to look at…is this the right place to do that?

Caroline may fix this in future updates of the theme, but usually we can give you a solution prior to that or at least a temporary fix.

The solution will require you to install this Custom CSS Manager plugin, it will be a CSS-based solution.

I have it now.

In the Custom CSS Manager section of the dashboard, enter this:

#header-image img {
 float: left\9;
}

Andrew, that fixes the issue in IE8 but not IE7 – I don’t really care about IE7 though. Thanks a lot for your help.

Try this instead;

#header-image img {
 float: left\9;
 *float: left;
}

No luck that time.

Okay, forget all my previous code recommendations and use this instead:

#header-image {
 margin-bottom: 0px\9;
 *margin-bottom: 0;
}

That pushes the whole white main section down to below the header, and not just the image. I’m gonna stick with the previous fix because as long as IE8 is working that’s the main thing.
