• i screwed something up in the function code today and now i can’t even get into my site to correct it. i’m not a programmer- just trying to set up my first site and this is all totally new to me. can anyone assist me

    Here’s the error i get:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/kpom/herbanmomma.com/wp-content/themes/craftiness/functions.php on line 22

  • If you can go through the FTP, replace the functions.php file of the theme with a previous version or original.

    That’s what i was trying to do (via dreamhost) and i can’t seem to replace the file with the original one – I can see the function.php but can’t seem to access it. basically i’m just getting a file index but unable to do anything with it. am i missing something?

    Are you using FTP to access your site? It’s easy once you get it set up – see:

    FileZilla is a good option for FTP – you’ll need to install it on your local computer:

    you guys are awesome! i got it. (although the filezilla download came with some unexpected junk files that i had to then uninstall before i could proceed – beware). thanks for your help
