My last two posts have not been sent to my subscribers. After the first fail, I uninstalled and reinstalled the jetpack plugin. On the second attempt, some subscribers received my post, some did not. I had the same problem a few weeks ago too.

    This is my blog:
    https://technologyinearlychildhood.com/

    Two Questions:

    1.How can I fix this?

2.How can I prevent this next time?
Back when wordpress was “under attack” a couple of weeks ago, I installed some security plugins. I’m wondering if they (or other plugins) might be causing the issue?

To deal with the “attack” I installed:
    Better WP Security
    Limit Login Attempts

    My other plugins are:
    Akismet
    Google Analytics for WordPress
    Google XML Sitemaps
    nrelate Related Content
Pinterest Pin It Button For Images
    Social Sharing Toolkit
    W3 Total Cache
    Wordpress Backup to Dropbox
    WordPress Importer
    Wprdpress Pin Optimizer
    WordPress SEO

Are any of those plugins “known culprits” for jetpack issues? I’d love any help you can give me.
    Thanks,
    Karen

  • I have the same problem. I upgraded to the latest jetpack yesterday not thinking anything of it, and now my posts aren’t going out to my subscriber list. Help!

Same here… CAN SOMEONE ANSWER THESE POSTS? I’m sick of this happening. This is the third time it’s happened to me…

@technologyinearlychildhood I checked our email logs, and it seems that your subscribers received notifications about your latest post, on May 15 at 23:36 UTC.

Have you managed to solve the issue by yourself?

Better WP Security might be what caused the problem, if it allowed you to block access to your site’s XML-RPC file, thus breaking your Jetpack connection.

@catinthefridge Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

Thanks Jeremy. I wasn’t able to get to the root of the issue. But uninstalling &reinstalling Jetpack fixed it. There was actually a secondary issue of my blog posts getting caught in gmail’s spam filters which was why some subscribers didn’t receive the second post. I’ll look into the Better WP security issue. Thanks for the tip, and the help.

It appears that my posts haven’t been getting out to subscribers.

Can you tell me how does .com and .org work. the correlation between the 2.
We have to have one to have the other.. is that right/ So when I switched from .com (which actually worked great) to .org, I have had so many issues. The FB widget (i guess that is what it is called) isnt working. It worked great on .com.

I have installed Jetpack (which you have to have to Jetpack, right.

My previous post havent gone out to subscribers… but I think today’s did… very strange.

Do I need to continue to go into .com to fix things.. or make adjustments?

It is all very confusing. I just want it to work

    Thanks

@delindalayne – you need to start your own thread – this one is 3 months old and resolved already. You can do so here:
