Force rewrite titles breaks javascript

  • WordPress version: 3.4.2
    WordPress SEO version: 1.4.7

    I did this: I migrated from AIO to Yoast. For the Title Home page template I did : %%sitename%% – %%sitedesc%% .. and for Post Types I left it default

    I expected the plugin to do this:
    I expected to see the Title tempalte as: zuntier.com – challenging ideas

    Instead it did this:
    zuntierzuntier – challenging ideas.

    I tried also setting the Force rewrite titles to on, however this has broken my javascript on the website (not sure why but that’s what it did). Unticking the checkbox fixes my javascript.
