Footer widgets gone, twenty twelve theme

    I’ve tried various themes, plugins etc, and now the widgets for the footers are gone from the dashboard. I recently deleted a bunch of plug ins [regarding sidebars] and switched themes to a plain twenty twelve, no customization so far.

    Is there any way to replace the footer widgets to the dashboard?
