Keyword not found in URL for front page post
-
Hi!
I’m running the latest WordPress (3.5.1.) with the latest version of the plugin (1.4.7). I building a small niche site and my domain contains my keyword (i.e.: desksforsaleguide.com with keyword desks for sale; of course not my actual site).
I have a static page set up as my front page. I expected the plugin to recognize that there is no slug and instead check the domain itself for the keyword. This is a bit annoying as my post doesn’t get one of those green SEO lights, which I love so much.
I’d also like to mention, that in situations like mine (static page is the front page) WordPress SEO should not notify me about the length of the slug. This is a bit less annoying as I can go into PhpMyAdmin and change the
post_name
. But while you’re fixing the other bug, why not fix this one as well. Thanks for the otherwise great plugin!
