Slider is 8050px tall, say what?!?
-
I was sat down with my client last week, and when she was here, in my office, we had just installed captain slider, and it was working fine, save for the fact that our pictures weren’t big enough.
Three days later, she says she’s finished uploading all of the slides for her homepage slider, but it’s not working correctly, the formatting is horrible, and there’s like 1000’s of pixels of whitespace. I load the site, https://www.midtnhometeam.com/NewWordPress/, and I see she’s right.
Each of her slides are: 970px by 350px
The slider is setting the initial height of the div.flex-viewport to 8050+ pixels???
The Captain Slider width and height settings have been tried at 0 and at 970×350 to match the slide dimensions, no joy.
I thought it was a conflict with the clean retina template, so I disabled it’s built-in slider functionality, but no joy. It’s still all stuffed up in both chrome and firefox.
I also tried wrapping the slider in a
<div style="max-height:350px">
but it still breaks out of the container.Any idea what’s going on here?
Thanks!
