    Hi
    I have another Sidebar issue.link
My side bar is there when accessing the site from a Google search and moving around within the menu options so far so good.
Pick the April Archives button and the side bar disappears, all the other months are fine.
If someone would please try it then scan down to the bottom of the page and see some elements of the sidebar have appeared in the footer area.

I had this fault initially when jumping into the site onto the front page, that is the recent posts page.
I fixed this by reducing from 3 to 2 the number of posts displayed.
This has now left me with the April Archive button triggering exactly the same unwanted missing sidebar.

By changing posts displayed back to 3 from 2 April Archives works fine but…we are back to no sidebar when landing on the front page recent posts.

By changing displayed posts to 1 it fixes everything…I do not want to run with just 1 post visible…

I have disabled all my widgets, nothing changed
I have removed a recent advert widget nothing changed
I even deleted a recent post in case that was doing it, no change
I have tried increasing my PHP.ini memory from 32mb to 128mb then 64mb, again no change.
    I am hosted by iPage
I am running Theme Twenty Twelve with custom menu made up of Categories and pages.
I have Front page set to recent posts.

PLEASE PLEASE can someone help me fix this.
    Dave

    Hi
I think it is more pointing toward a memory issues.

I counted the posts and had 8 in March no issue
and 8 in April the problem month

I changed the last April one to May which now has 2 posts and April is now fixed….

Does anyone know if this is a WordPress memory issue or do I need to chat with iPage?

If anyone is kind enough to be able to help I can set April back to how it was to get the fault to display?
If so email me a time and date you can look give me a bit of notice if you can and I will set it back for an hour or so.

I am in the UK on British summer time or UTC+1

    Cheers
    Dave

Hi really disappointed at no help on this one but to help others I think I found it and have fixed my site Sidebar now appearing and back to 3 posts displayed at a time.

So to help others! Try the things below…

found that one music review post had lost its title, so explored more and the preceding one had this script on the end of an Amazon Widget code block

    <script type=”text/javascript

No idea how it happened, anyway removing it fixed the missing title of the next post.

I then took the Amazon overwrite off from Skimlinks at the same time.

Rechecked the site and working fine again, not sure if it is just one of the above or both…..
