• On our schaumburg.linkedlocalnetwork.com site the images don’t display. We have resized all of the images, and used the same images that work on the women.linkedlocalnetwork.com website. I have upgraded to the latest release of the plugin and the issue is still happening. I did see the following errors: Notice: convert_to_screen(), add_meta_box() was called incorrectly. Likely direct inclusion of wp-admin/includes/template.php in order to use add_meta_box(). This is very wrong. Hook the add_meta_box() call into the add_meta_boxes action instead. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in /homepages/39/d284713208/htdocs/llneducation/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2959

  • Hi, those messages aren’t anything to do with Meta Slider, it doesn’t call those functions. Please try disabling all other plugins one by one until the error messages disappear.

I disabled all of the 25+ plugins and the same result. I can see the arrows on the slider but no images are displayed.

Have you disabled the ‘optimize in clauses’ setting in feedwordpress? (you mention in the other thread that this fixed it for one of your other sites)

The issue still happens when feedwordpress is disabled so the Optimize In clause isn’t the issue.

    Hi,

I’m not sure what to suggest that I haven’t already suggested: disable all plugins and switch to a different theme. Without direct access to debug code on your server its impossible to say what the issue might be – all I can do is take guesses.

I can assure you the error messages are not directly related to Meta Slider, Meta Slider does not use those functions (the fact they’re called add_meta_box is coincidence, add_meta_box is a built in WordPress function which must be called by a different plugin).

It seems to be an isolated issue with this one site in particular (it’s working on your other sites?), I wouldn’t normally suggest it but as a last resort maybe you could find a different plugin or downgrade to 1.3.

    Regards,
    Tom.
