not likely, lightbox javascript isnt theme specific

I have 2 WP blogs with different themes, it does work without anything on the other one.

The problem is probably your permalink structure – if you don’t use the default one, it doesn’t work. I wrote a tutorial to get round this issue: https://blog.daniel-lim.co.uk/2006/06/17/lightbox/
