    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, re-installing an old version is not possible and not recommended. Instead, we should try to find out what’s causing the problems.

The first step here should be to re-install TablePress from a fresh download, to make sure that nothing is corrupted (e.g. because some files were not copied during the automatic update for some reason).

If that does not help, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Most likely there’s a JavaScript conflict somewhere then. In order for me to do this, please send me the details to a temporary admin account via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”), and I’ll gladly check things out.

    Regards,
    Tobias

I had sent you a message and have heard nothing back. You had the same or similar issue with the old WPTables program and have it again now with TablePress. It eliminates the options features of the data files and then you lose the search option, the update features, etc. The program only stores data that you now have to create from an outside source and import in as a CSV file.

    Hi,

I’d already replied to you about a week ago, but also sent the reply again yesterday, after your second email.
Did you receive that now? Did the message maybe get caught in your spam folder?

    Regards,
    Tobias

Never did find your message but did see you were there and now it works fine. Curiously, what went wrong in the upgrade?

    Hi,

weird that you did not receive the mail…

    Here’s what I wrote:

    Hi,

    Thanks for the account information!
(By the way, I really like this “Firewall” idea ?? )

Now, regarding the problem: I was able to log in successfully, but
    could not reproduce any errors.
I tried on Google Chrome on Linux and Firefox on Windows, and both
times, everything worked fine. I could sort, edit or add just fine…

Can you therefore please try again after clearing your browser cache,
and describe in more detail what exactly is not working?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    So, I didn’t really change anything, as I couldn’t find a problem.

    Regards,
    Tobias
