Some Quick questions

  • I am a noob with WP but I have some background.
    Can I use Bootstrap with this? I mean, I need the grid system, buttons, accordions, I need to use or integrate my own shortcodes to work with this builder. What’s the quickest route in learning/achieving this?

    Can I add a Content widget with post type capability?
    I want to add the blog content block or maybe the portfolio post type content block as a widget for the page builder. How can I do that?

    Can I contribute something to this project in order to get my needs done? Thanks so much.

    I got it with the loop, checked with your themes. I only need to know a quick way to add my shortcodes and my custom post types.

    first, i want to say, your joomla templates look great ??

    As i know, this plugin put all widgets in the page builder. So, the quick way is by recode your shortcode to widget in your theme, i tried to combine this plugin with “Flexible Posts Widget”, but have problem with ajax.

    I don’t really know how to do this thing you say. I also don’t want to make a widget for every little type of bootstrap button.

    Hi DNP

    Right now I’m adding a lot of widgets that should be ready for the next major release of Page Builder. I will be including a button widget.

    If you can’t wait for the new default widgets, you can create your own using this guide. You wouldn’t need to create a widget for every type of bootstrap button. You could create a single button widget, and just have a drop down select to choose the style.

    Thanks Greg for your wonderful reply. The widget guide is excellent.

    However, the most important change I think you need to think of is the Bootstrap grids. The drag to resize is not practical with a Bootstrap dominated environment.
