Multilingual Press Link Issues between sites

As much as I love wordpress, I am too often reminder how much I still and will always need to learn…
Can someone check this site https://louismartinturgeon.com and give me
1) insight into the problem
2) tools for a PHP beginner to fix that kind of problem myself in the futureThe language button takes me from the English to the French site (main site – https://louismartinturgeon.com/) but not from French to English (https://louismartinturgeon.com/english/2013/05/01/ndg-hockey/).
It should take me instead to https://louismartinturgeon.com/english/
I figured either I will be on this for days fulltime to figure this out or someone here will ease my pain.
Help!
