Need Newspaper Type Posting

  • I need my posts to have a headine, few lines of text, and then a clickable “read more” which bring in the full post [as my posts are often 4 to 10 A4 size pages long]

    I spent a few hours searching for a solution, but could not find one. Excuse me if the question is childish, but probably it is because I am in the 50s, and learning new tricks is becoming difficult

  • You could use quicktags like <!–more–>

    That’s pretty much the default for blogs.
    Just insert the <!--more--> tag wherever you want the excerpt to stop. It will insert a clickable “read more” that takes you to the entire posting.
