Why does my editor not appear?

  • I currently had some trouble with my websites because of hackers, but it is fully under my control once more. Since that occasion, however, I have noticed that I no longer have access to my editor. I have recently been trying to get on there in order to remove a meta tag in which the hacker made himself a verified owner on google webmasters. Why is this happening? How can I get it back?

  • Don’t know how you got the control again, but it’s recommended to upload a clean WordPress installation again to override all the files, just in case there are any garbage code or backdoor left in the script.

    Also reupload any themes or plugins you have.

    See if this solves the problem.

    When you mean to upload a clean WordPress, do you just mean in my computer?

    Where your WordPress is installed, your hosting server.
