I use Adsense on my site with two horizontal ads and one vertical ad on each of the pages. I am setting up archive pages and noticed that although it has a vertical adsense ad on my archive pages it does not have the two horizontal ones shown on my other pages. Is there a way to add these without touching code? I am not a coder and pretty scared of trying. My site is https://www.catholictravelblog.com

  • Can you show a page (URL/ link) that does not show AdSense ads?

The archive pages show one Adsense ad, the vertical. They don’t show the two horizontal ads that you see on my other pages. Hope that makes sense.

I guess I should be more clear—still learning these terms. If you go to my home page at thecatholictravelblog.com and then click on “Category” drop-down menu under subjects that takes you to the archives and those are the pages I am referring to. Of course, being a new blog the archives are the same as the latest posts at the moment.

Google may not serve all ads to all pages at all times if suitable ads are not found. Please read the AdSense terms and policy.

BTW, are you placing ads directly into your template files, or are you using any AdSense plugin?

I am have the Adsense plug-in (I think) but using template files as well so I am not really sure which (told you I didn’t know much!).

I do not find any code for ads in that link other than the sidebar tower ad, not even blank space for ads.

Well then I really don’t understand. How do I add the horizontal ads in? Should I just wipe it out and do the archive page over?

Problem solved–I went into the QuickAdsense settings and change them. I already had “archives” checked under the appearance list, but I then also clicked a couple other tabs so one of them must have done the job! Thanks for your help.

    Welcome! ??
