Facebook business page instead of profile page?

  • Your app works, and works perfectly. The only hiccup I can’t quite figure out is how to get it to post to a specific facebook page administrated by me instead of the personal profile.

    I put in the page’s URL in the setting’s under Facebook profile URL, but it posts as my personal account and on my personal account’s profile instead. I’m not sure how to change it.

    The only other information I can think of that may or may not be relevant is that the page is unpublished until I finish setting it up. I did publish it for a few minutes to see if that changed anything, but I got the same result.

    Actually, this is an expected behavior. Currently MicroblogPoster can only post to facebook personal profiles, facebook pages are not supported.

    Updating facebook pages and even groups is an interesting feature but at the moment I can’t tell you precisely when I’ll implement it.

    That’s too bad. I think it would be a great option to have, given how well the plugin works. I hope you consider adding it soon.

    Can you help to tell me,how can I find my Facebook business page’s App secret? I tried to research for hours.I can create an app and found it on my personal page,but couldn’t find on my business page.

    Seems that you can’t manage apps with a facebook business account. In order to create a facebook app you need to login with your personal account.

    I, too, would certainly like MicroblogPoster to post to a Facebook Page rather than my personal profile.
