“Before posting a new topic, be sure to search to see if one has been started already.” – I did this, but couldn’t find someone with the problem as me… so here goes…
it took me a while to get my WP to work, but now I have it working… or at least installed. Ive seen and been inside and even made my 1st post, but i keep getting the page:
“WordPress
Error establishing a database connectionThis either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
* Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
* Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
* Are you sure that the database server is running? If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.”
page… its getting annoying! sometimes if i just reload the page it goes away and i get the page up, but still it is annoying…
I even tried to reinstall WP with a new database name and user and stuff, but still the same…Does anyone have any thoughts?
