    Hi

First and foremost, I’m very pleased with this fantastic plugin, one of the most flexible and configurable I ever seen.

Playing around with a wp web I’m working on, I decided to show one specific page as one-category-only-page with custom template for that specific category.

On another static page I added one out of two slider I created. As expected, it works flawlessly.

Trying to mimic this static page on the category template, I added the same php line for the second slider but (i hate to use ‘but’), when showing the page, the slider only loads the ul on the desired same position but without any content inside it. Even the js is working because I can see the dynamic change in the margin property. Even more, as I’m seeing right now, the next-prev buttons appear too. No slides and no pager.
    Only this
    <div style='max-width: 1024px; margin: 0 auto;' class='metaslider metaslider-flex metaslider-175 ml-slider'><div id='metaslider_175' class='flexslider'><ul class='slides'></ul></div></div>
    and the js

Any insights about what could be wrong? and thanks in advance!

  • hi l2uso,

    Hmm.. good question!

Do you have other slider plugins installed? Maybe one of them is conflicting with Meta Slider – try disabling your other plugins.

Also try disabling javascript. You’ll need to look at the source to see if the slides are there in the first place.

Let me know how that goes, if you can provide a link to your site that’d help a lot.

    Regards,
    Tom.

    Wow! how fast, thanks!

Well, let me try to put things in the way they was when the error/bug/clumsyness (of my part, of course ahaha) happend, and then, I’ll share you the link.

And yes, I disabled not just the other slider plugin I had but everything else, and even uninstalling it at all and, sorry to say, same trouble.

Let me try the js trick, it doesn’t came to my mind DOH!

Thank you again, I’ll keep you posted.
