entries not showing?

  • I just made a new theme for my website, and everything seems to be ok, except that my entries aren’t showing up – everything else does, just not that – as you can see at allured.nu/wordpress.

    because my entries dont show up, it makes stuff look out of place, like my sidebar.

    if someone wouldnt mind looking at my coding through my dashboard (everything is writable), i would greatly appreciate it. ive tried what i can think of, and its not working. maybe someone else’s eye will catch something im missing.

    No, I dont believe I do.

    Well, when I tried to make my very first theme… first I’ve studied and dissected several themes and all their files to understand what I was doing. I can’t give you any better advice.

    Perhaps you’d have a better understanding of the theme you’re using, had you actually created it to begin with.

    Maybe you should ask the guy who actually created that theme, I bet he could help you out, after all, I’m sure he understands the design.

    That’s who you could contact. Shame on your for removing his credits in the style sheet too and replacing it with your own dribble, sweetie. You didn’t create or build it. You modified an already made template.

    Actually, the theme wasn’t modified, it was completely changed, by ME. therfore, i consider it to be my own work & am taking credit for that.

    does it look similar? sure. and would i give credit if i thought i used his theme? of course – i’m not going to be a bitch like that. however, the theme im using was more than just modified. i took an idea and ran my own way with it, and i would appreciate it if you wouldnt try to tell me, or anyone else otherwise. i’m taking credit for the work that i did, and i think its ok to claim credit for that.

    As for my problem, it was actually something very stupid. it was a typo that i overlooked.

    I am not going to argue with you, as you appear to be someone in complete denial. You didn’t modify much of anything and had you, out of respect for the tweaking you did of the original author, you should’ve left his own credits there. Adding a few personal touches, which mind you are quite basic, doesn’t take away from the fact that theme in full, isn’t your own. It was derived from someone else’s.

    Other people use that same theme and do similar modifications to it, it doesn’t make it original or of your own creations. At least these people are capable of respect.

    By the way, I’ve seen that exact setup, using that same theme on several other sites.
