Theme not displaying correctly on mobile

    Hi there

    I am using the Adelle theme at https://www.mummywifeme.com

    It is displaying fine on firefox and explorer, but I can’t get it to display properly on mobile. It will just show as text, but if I scroll down to the bottom and click on the ‘classic’ link, it will work fine.

    I notice my mobile also diverts to this url mobile.mummywifeme.com/#2881.

    I have deactivated all of my plugins and it still isn’t working.

    I need any advice you can give as I really want to get started blogging.

    I downloaded it from here https://www.bluchic.com/shop/adelle-theme however I have tried other themes and still have the same problem.

    I’m sorry but as you are using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from www.remarpro.com here. Try https://www.bluchic.com/support-types

    In the meantime, try switching to the default 2012 theme to confirm that this is a theme-specific problem.

    Not with your original theme, no. We only support themes downloaded from www.remarpro.com here.

    Sorry to be a pain. I’m new at all this. So, if I activate the 2012 theme will you be able to assist?

    The 2012 theme was initially built to work on mobiles and has been used & tested on thousands of sites without any major problems. If you have a problem with the theme’s mobile display, you’d need to be specific in terms of what exactly was wrong.

    Okay thankyou.

    I have activated the twenty twelve theme.

    When I try to bring the page up on my mobile it appears as just text unless I scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on a link ‘classic’.
    When I key in mummywifeme.com it seems to redirect to the url mobile.mummywifeme.com/#2881

    yes I have. All plugins are currently deactivated.

    I also reset the site this afternoon and it didn’t do any good.

    I can’t see any problem with your site and I’m not getting any redirections.

    That is strange as everyone else I’ve asked to look at it on their mobile phone can’t view it properly. It appears in mobile view,which is just the text only and no style, but if they scroll down to the bottom and click on classic view it works okay and you can see the style of the site.

    Can you see it fine on your mobile?

    I really appreciate your help with this.

    I tested on my mobile and it does revert to the subdomain mobile.mummywifeme.com. It shows only text.
