Photoblog template ?

  • Hi there,
    I’m trying to set-up a photoblog for a round-the-world trip that I’m going on :). However, my css/html skills are next to nothing and so I’m relying on trying to find a decent base template that I can tinker with while learning.
    I’m trying to find a barebones template of this moveabletype (/me washes out mouth) https://www.quixoticpixels.com/test/ example site but of-course for wordpress.

  • That site has a tutorial to make the template – just change the fields to the appropriate WordPress ones:

    Along the same line, I’m moving from movabletype to wordpress when my previous host suddenly disabled users from using mt. I’ve got wp installed and working but need to tweak it to look my mt photolog.
    I’ve tried modifying pictorialis, but somehow or other couldn’t get it to work. Don’t need the recent entries thumbnails, just previous/next, archives, about links. I think the archives on eric billingsley photolog is really cool, but I’ll be happy just to get the index page working.
    Is there any documentation or reference that I can refer to on this? I know a bit of html/css, but nothing about php. Have looked at the template documentation on this site but couldn’t make head or tails out of it.

    I try looking for the templates for wordpress but the url does not exist anymore. Can you help me?…
