Events Calendar

  • Can’t get events calendar to publish at all today and always has been erratic. I am working on a church calendar and want to add 3 events on Sundays to repeat. I have at times gotten the events to add on one Sunday only and lost everything when updated one to repeat. I have at another time gotten two events to be on calendar and repeat but couldn’t get third to add. And today can get nothing to add.

    I did read some posts and tried to re-update WordPress — no luck.

    I was told by the person who designed our site that the calendar is quirky and she has been luck since she stopped putting a forever repeat and no more than a year so I have been trying a three month repeat. No Luck.

    I am brand new to wordpress but have written several websites with xhtml and css and am a C# programmer so I should be able to resolve this.

    I thank you for any help and am sorry if I chose wrong forum.

    – Are using any lugin for your calendar? Which one?

    I believe Eos. That is the theme theme pointed to when I click on Appearance on the dashboard.

    I do not know what a lugin is. This site was started by someone a year or so ago and I am just coming into it. I believe very little was actually done with it since it was started. And remember I am very new to WordPress and the wordpress jargon.

    A lugin is a misspelling of plugin.
    Btw your theme is very outdated.

    I don’t really want to do any major changes until I more figure out what I am doing but is the theme being used possibly the reason for the problems with the calendar.

    I guess I don’t know if I am using plugins. Is the Calendar that comes with WordPress considered a plugin?

    But now I have completely lost the calendar as I mentioned in a post a few minutes ago. I completely uninstalled the calendar and tried to reinstall Calendar and now have no calendar display. I am now unsure which of the many plugin calendars was on the site previously although I had been led to believe that it was the one that installs with wordpress.

    I am sorry but I do not find anything related to WordPress in your site.

    EDIT: From where did you delete the calendar plugin? From your web server or your dashboard?
