When people download my link it comes up jumbled

I just tested it on your web site. No problems with the download. I got your ebook and it renders just fine on a pc.

A quick google search shows that the jumbled letters problem is not that uncommon and usually has to do with the end users computer and fonts. I have provided you with a link to an adobe forum which talks about just this problem.

I am having the same issue here. when the download is complete it renders in the wingdings font jumble. I too am using a mac however i’ve tested this on a PC and i’ve saved the PDF in adobe reader instead of Macs default Preview. Any thoughts on what this could be?

The issue lies in the creation of the pdf. The fonts that are used to make the pdf are not being embedded in the pdf itself. So when it’s rendered on another computer that does not have those font(s), it comes out wacky. You will have to check the adobe forums or the the forums for the program that was used to create the pdf.

The plugin only uploads and downloads files, it does not alter them.

Thank you i appreciate it. I’ll figure out what’s going on with this document. I think one of the fonts is not embedding.

I just want to state how i fixed this just in case others have the same issue. So just as Andy stated i don’t think it’s the plugin itself, it works great. What i did to fix this issue was compress my pdf file and make it into a zip file now, it works great. When i looked at the pdf the font was embedded so if you can’t figure it out like i couldn’t, just turn it into a zip and it pops right up when you click the download link.
