• Hi all,

    Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue or has a solution.

    As of today I suddenly can’t see any updates for any of my plugins when I know for sure there were at least 5 showing last night and that there should be another 2 showing today?

    I’ve asked my hosting company Hostgator to investigate but they can’t find any problems with the connection out to www.remarpro.com so advised me to ask here.

  • There are no issues at this end either. Nor have I come across anyone else with same problem recently. So all I can say is that this is specific to your site. Have you checked your versions of these plugins with the details on the various plugin pages here?

    Yes i have.

    I have BBpess 2.2 and Buddypress 1.6 installed and yet there is buddy press 1.7 and BBpres 2.3 available and when I go into the Install Plugin area and search for these they show up but the Update option is not there underneath them, it only show s the Details option.

    Even when I click into details the Install Update Now option isnt there?????

    Hostgator say i have a good connection to www.remarpro.com server!

    Have you tried using the “Check again” button in Dashboard -> Updates?

    It says my plugins are all up to date when they aren’t?

    Have you tried checking your site’s error logs clues? Your hosts should be able to help you in accessing your site’s error logs.

    Why would the Install plugins area suddenly not being showing the update option under plugins that I have installed that are out of date?

    I’ve checked again with Hostgator and there’s no issues showing on my logs

    Not that I’ve seen. In fact, I think you’re the only one I’ve seen who had this problem with no errors. Ever.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all of your other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
