BackWPup with PHP 5.2.6

Hi,

I am trying to run BackWPup and getting the mysqli errors. I enabled mysqli on our web server but that didn’t solve the problem. We are running php 5.2.6 and do not have the option to upgrade to 5.3.3 is there any way to make this work?
