Track and Ping backs

Hi,
I done many posts with links to other blogs and only a few have a ping or trackback. The devblog I wrote to posts recently and none of them are showing up on the devblog. I thought they just closed it but other ping and track backs are now there other then mine. Even on other blogs it just stays as a link. No ping ever goes out. But it does work on local ping and trackbacks like when I link to another of my blog posts. What is going on ? Thanks…
