hm I am using an iPhone/iPad and I’ve recreated the issue with android os.

Which page elements still have the fade effects that you don’t want?

it seems only the circles are grayed… and so it’s difficult to see the text…

In your Child Theme stylesheet/ Custom CSS option, add this;

@media only screen and (max-device-width: 480px) {
 .hentry.no-thumbnail {
  background: #444;
 }
}

I did notice though that the hover effect is rendered upon touching a circle, you can see it just before the new page loads…

perhaps it would be easier to simply change the color only for webdevices?
