'All products' display page showing 10 instead of 12 items

Hi. Can you help please. My shop has 16 items and the main ‘Shop’ page is showing 10 of 16 (2 and a half rows of 4) on page 1, then 4 of 16 on page 2. See here:

Can I change it to show 12 items (3 full rows) on page 1? I’ve tried changing the related.php (in my child theme > woocommerce folder > single-product folder) to say
‘posts_per_page’ => 12,
but that didn’t work.
