How do I display excerpts in rss feeds instead of entire posts?

    I’ve been searching the forum for an answer and so far the only thing I’ve figured out is that I need to use the_excerpt_rss tag in the loop instead of the_content_rss. Can someone just sort of walk me through how to do this, or at least tell me which .php file I should be editing?

  • Options > Reading, under Syndication Feeds set “For each article, show” to summary. WordPress will ‘excerpt’ your posts in your feeds from then on.
