The time on my blog is UTC time and I want my posts to reflect timedate stamps as central standard time. How do I get my posts to reflect the correct time zone and not UTC which is 6 hours a head of me.

Login as Admin. Go to Options -> General. Scroll down to “Times in the weblog should differ by:” and type -6 in the field.

Click “update options” and bob, as they say in australia, remains your uncle.

Scroll down to time offset and make it -6.

    Default time format should be:
    g:i a
to say 5:09 p.m. (for example)

    Edit:
Oops – Handy beat me to it. :>)
