  • I assume you mean processing status when you say received?

When you want orders to skip processing and go straight to completed, all products in that order need to be ‘virtual’ next to being ‘downloadable’.

    Thanks for that,

When testing I only had one product virtual product selected but when to received. After that I had to click on the order to start processing and then finally completed. Yes, it was also flagged as virtual and downloadable – any suggestions as to what maybe happening?

What order status did you order get and what payment method did you use?

I used the standard Paypal gateway which comes with woocommerce. The product ordered was set to virtual and downloadable. Currently the payment gateway is pointing to the paypal test environment.

On completion of paying via Paypal we return to our site. We received the e-mails that the product has been orgered ie both client and admin. The status of the order is on ordered ie …, I then have to click the order to move it processing and then complete in order for the product eb available.

    Is this enough detail?

oops – sorry about the typos ??

I need to know the exact status the order gets after the payment gets completed. ‘on ordered’ is not a default status for orders.

When you complete the Paypal transaction the user is return to a page that is title

“Order Received Home > Checkout > Order Received”

Whe you click view order – the status is pending.

In the Admin the order is pending status. Please note that I am using the Paypal Sandbox environment at the moment.

    Hope this helps.

If PayPal is your gateway and orders stay at the pending status, it’s likely an issue with IPN. Have you checked the System Status page under the WooCommerce menu of your administration panel for any errors related to that?

Do you have a password protection on your site, or any maintenance mode plugins active that might prevent an IPN request from completing? Can I have a link to the site?

I have the WooDojo maintenance plugin activated and that must be affecting it. Thanks for your help.
