Locked out of site

  • I have the same problem and think it has been due to the plug-in.
    Any suggestions anyone?
    Or any advice on how the plugin works – where does it put the “activated” marker?
    Or any idea of how to deinstall the plugin via ftp?
    Please?

    Same thing happened to me. Plugin was still active after I deactivated it and deleted files.

    I found this entry in wp_options. I deleted the row and site returned to normal.

    plugin_maintenance-mode

    option_value was basically the content of the splash page.
